Oil Plastic Coated Copper
Oil V-Tec™ coated copper tube combines the proven reliability of seamless copper with an extruded polyethylene jacket engineered for corrosion resistance in challenging environments.
This high-visibility tubing is ready to install right out of the box and is ideal for fuel oil transport in applications where direct burial or exposure to acidic soils demands added protection.
Applications
Engineered for fuel oil transport, including residential and commercial oil-burning equipment installations, underground piping systems, and environments where corrosive conditions are common.
Material
- Manufactured from UNS C12200 copper alloy (99.9% pure copper)
- Extruded orange linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) coating with a patented clear stripe for visual inspection and leak detection
Specifications
- Minimum .025-inch polyethylene coating extruded onto the copper for consistent corrosion protection
- Continuously marked with size, specification details, manufacturing code, and footage every 2 feet for easy identification
Sizes: 3/8 inch OD to 5/8 inch OD
Lengths: 50 feet, 100 feet, and 250 feet
